Course Finder System

The project entitled ‘COURSE FINDER ‘deals with online search for courses such as
MCA, BCA ,BSc, MSc, BTech, Mtech etc. “COURSE FINDER” is a highly enhanced form of
existing system. Users are provided with user-friendly interactive system. Online application
forms are some of the features of this proposed system. Users are able to apply for any courses
from anywhere in the world through online. Data processing is handled with accuracy. Internal
mailing is provided for better communication between the users, institutions and the
administrator. Administrator checks the validity of each client and gives him authorized access to
the area. Any types of clients who visit the site are given a provision to see all our utilities.

Modules

ADMINISTRATION: Administrator has several responsibilities like registration approval, database updating.
Admin is also responsible for adding new users and institutions, editing of existing items,
sending mails to institutions or user etc. In short administrator has the overall control of site.

REGISTRATION: This module deals with registration of user or institution. The user or institution has to
register for getting a valid user id and password. They have to fill a registration form and the
details are validated by administrator. If the details are correct administrator will issues login id
and password.

SEARCHING: This module deals with the searching process in the system. Registered users can make
use of this module. Using this module the registered user can search the entire database for a
course or college and the output will contain accurate results. From the results they can access
more details (Visit the Institution Profile).

INSTITUTION DETAILS: This module deals with the various institutions and their courses. Admin is also responsible
for adding institutions

UPLOAD and Download Prospectus: The user can download prospectus. The admin is responsible for uploading prospectus.
